Articulation: Minimal Pairs in Sentences - Final Consonant Deletion
I've been making lots of minimal pair materials lately to work on phonological process errors! These flash cards address final consonant deletion in sentences (e.g., "The cow sat on the couch"). You could use these with any game... just have the child read or repeat the sentence and then take a turn.

I like flashcards better... they are more versatile for us, personally. Thanks for these!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback. I'll continue using the flash card format!
DeleteThis is such a cute activity! I think I prefer the flashcard format! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI like flashcards for therapy; however, your worksheets make great home practice activities. I think both formats have a place and I am grateful for whatever you share!
ReplyDeleteThanks so mush for these! Personally I like work sheets (No cutting involved and easy to stick into homework book - but maybe I'm being lazy!) either way I love these as I always struggle with minimal pairs in sentences. Thanks again for sharing! Jessica
ReplyDeleteUh oh, now I'll have to go back and forth between the flash cards and worksheets! It looked like flash cards were winning but I know what you mean about how worksheets are much easier to send home!
DeleteCute cute - thanks! I think flash cards and worksheets both have their place (as described in previous comments). But if I had to choose, I would probably pick flash cards :)

Schoolhouse Talk!
I have to say I'm partial to these flashcards because many of my kiddos are non-readers so the picture helps them recall what I say to repeat these minimal pair sentences...but I love all your materials as they are all so functional!!! Thanks so much!!!!
