This cut-and-paste activity works on positional or spatial concepts and has a Halloween theme.  You can also ask "where" questions after completing the activity to work on prepositions.  This worksheet won PediaStaff's Pinterest Pin of the Week!

  4. I'm part SLP and part techie. I took your activity and made it a SMART Board activity. Save it from here first: http://tinyurl.com/halloweenpreps . If you don't have SMART Notebook, then you can try it on their free web-based version: express.smarttech.com. After you save the file, go to the website and open the file.   5. Hi Lane. This activity was JUST what I was looking for. I used it this a.m. for my 6yo with Down syndrome and 4yo. Next week we'll try the 8yo and see if he can do it with auditory instructions only. I blogged about this great activity - it is scheduled to post on Monday with a link back to your site. Thanks for sharing this stuff with the rest of us. I could not believe how difficult it was to find directional words cut and paste activities. I'm thrilled to not have to reinvent the wheel.
