Articulation: Z Sentence Flash Cards

These flash cards target articulation of /z/ in the word initial, medial, and final positions in complete sentences.  These work great when laminated with AmazonBasics Thermal Laminating Pouches!

Articulation: G Sentence Flash Cards

Here is the first of three sets of /g/ flash cards addressing the /g/ phoneme in complete sentences.  These flash cards address /g/ in the word-initial, word-medial, and word-final positions (8 cards for each position).  Great for working on articulation or the phonological process errors of fronting.

Articulation: K Sentence Flash Cards

Here are three sets of /k/ flash cards addressing the /k/ phoneme in complete sentences.  There are 16 flash cards (2 pages) of /k/ in each position (word-initial, word-medial, word-final).  Great for working on articulation or the phonological process errors of fronting or backing.

These work great when laminated with AmazonBasics Thermal Laminating Pouches!

Articulation: L Blends Sentence Flash Cards

Here are six sets of /l/ blends flash cards addressing l blends in complete sentences.  Great for working on articulation or  the phonological process error of cluster reduction.

Included: bl, fl, gl, kl, pl, and sl.

Articulation: R Blends Sentence Flash Cards

Here are seven sets of r blends flash cards addressing r blends in complete sentences.

Each flash card is loaded with two words containing an /r/ blend. There are 7 pages included -- one page for each of the blends: br, dr, fr, kr, pr, tr.

Great for extra practice with articulation or phonological process errors!

Articulation: S Blends Sentence Flash Cards

Each flash card has two words with an s-blend. They are separated by phoneme: sk, sl, sm, sn, sp, st, sw. 8 cards for each blend, for a total of 56 cards.

Good for working on articulation and phonological process errors (such as cluster reduction).

Articulation: Minimal Pairs in Sentences - Gliding

Here are some more flash cards to address phonological process errors!  These cards address the phonological process of "gliding," which refers to substituting a /w/ or /y/ sound (a "glide") for a /r/ or /l/ sound (a "liquid").

There are 24 flash cards in this set.

Articulation: Minimal Pairs in Sentences - Stopping

These flash cards address the phonological process error of stopping /s/ (i.e., saying "toop" instead of "soup" or "tame" instead of "same").  There are 18 cards in this set.

Articulation: Minimal Pairs in Sentences - Final Consonant Deletion

I've been making lots of minimal pair materials lately to work on phonological process errors!  These flash cards address final consonant deletion in sentences (e.g., "The cow sat on the couch").  You could use these with any game... just have the child read or repeat the sentence and then take a turn.

Articulation: Minimal Pairs in Sentences - G and D (Fronting/Backing)

Here's another minimal pairs worksheet, this time addressing fronting or backing /g/ and /d/!  It is great to work on phonological processes with a minimal pairs approach to ensure that the child can both hear and produce the sounds differently.  This is one of the many reasons that it's important before starting therapy that all children have a hearing evaluation.

Articulation: Minimal Pairs in Sentences - K and T (Fronting/Backing)

This worksheet addresses the /k/ and /t/ phonemes in the word-initial position of sentences.  Good for extra practice with the phonological process errors of fronting or backing!

Articulation: S Blends - Minimal Pairs in Sentences

These sentences each contain an /s/ blend and a word without the /s/.  For example, the first sentence contains both the words "tool" and "stool."

Articulation: Near Minimal Pairs in Sentences: S and Sh

Here is an activity similar to the last worksheet I posted.  These sentences contain both the /s/ and /sh/ sounds for kids who start to mix up the two.  The first 15 sentences contain minimal pairs, and the last 10 contain near-minimal pairs.

Articulation: Near Minimal Pairs in Sentences: F/V and Th

Many kids can distinguish between minimal pairs at the individual word level, but when reading sentences, all of the rules go out the window.  I wrote these sentences for a client who can now produce the "th" sound, but is now overextending that production to the "f" and "v" sound as well.

Phonology: Stopping /s/ Minimal Pairs

These flash cards can be used for clients who produce /t/ for /s/ (known as "stopping").  You may want to work on auditory discrimination first (point to "tea" / point to "sea") to make sure the child can hear the difference, and then work on actually producing the /s/.

It may help to add a prolonged /h/ sound after the /s/.  So like "sss".... "he".
